Proposed wind farm size reduced ahead of appear hearing later this month
(ABC KRCR-TV) A revised Fountain Wind Project will be on the table during an appeal hearing in front of Shasta County Supervisors later this month.

(Action News Now) – The Fountain Wind Energy Project will bring tens of millions of dollars to northeastern Shasta county over a 30 year period and enough clean energy to power up to 86,000 homes. Its not official yet, but if all goes smoothly, construction should complete by the end of 2023.
